How can I use excel to forecast values for X along a normal distribution?

I have a spreadsheet which currently looks at a column of data points. The data points, when plotted against an incremental x axis, create a series of peaks and valleys. The sheet currently isolates one particular peak and the data points of it upper half. I need to extrapolate from the known data points downwards towards y=0 to give a normal distribution. Any ideas how the heck I do this?

I had the weirdest dream.what does it mean?

I woke up early in the morning to a lot of noise coming from outside of my house…it turns out the police were outside and so was this guy I used to date monthssss ago. (who I still think is really cute). When i looked out my window, he was getting out of his car and walking up to the front gate. I was excited to see him. I noticed that his car was black instead of a cream/white color. He was wearing a black polo and khaki pants, something I’ve seen him wear before. He was here because he needed to talk to the police about some incident that happened with Batman (yeah I know, so random. I just saw the movie last week). I guess he and I had been out together when this “incident” with Batman happened. But he lives 2 hours away from where I am now, so it didn’t make sense to me that he would have to drive all the way over here.
3 CommentsAnyway, I end up making out with him for a while at some point in my room. After he leaves, my sister and I peak at him through my window and my sister comments that she thinks he’s cute, but she still thinks he’s ***. And then I had a reaction along the lines of a disgusted “No, I KNOW he’s not.” (One of his friends told me that there was a joke about this a while back because he’s kind of a quiet person and doesn’t say much about girls he’s dating.)
What does my dream mean? It all seemed so bizarre and it would just be interesting to hear what interpretations there might be.

A computer program gives values for two parameters in the following form:
a = 12.37825 m/s, error on a =0.0286145 m/s
b = 3.2395e-3 m, error on b = 2.7481912e-05 m
How do you report these values?

Astrology Advice for a Wedding Date?

Hi,
I want to get married the first semester of next year (2009) and I know it’s astrologically good to get married under Capricorn or Taurus. I liked January 17th, 2009 at 7:30 pm (in Mexico City) but Saturn is in the second house opposing Uranus in the 8th. house. I also see that Neptune is in the 7th. house. The date has many good astrological aspects (for example, the moon in Libra in the 3rd. house) but I think those two aspects are terrible. Can anyone help me telling me what they would mean in a marriage? Should I reconsider the date? I know that Uranus opposing Saturn will be going on for some time… help please!!! Thank you!!

Can a divorce be deemed null and void if the official court stamp is incorrectly dated?

My husband was divorced in 2006, separated since 2001. He has changed jobs and is currently making half of what he used to. Due to this, he is back in court trying to lower his alimony, as it was literally half his pay, which is now ALL his pay. While reviewing his final divorce paper, he realized he and his ex signed and dated, 2.6.06….now, take a peek at the dated “official” court stamp, indicating the entering of the judgement and it reads 2.6.05!! YES!! It is a year earlier, the court had forgot to change the year on thier “official” stamp. Does this make the original papers null and void and these papers are not “legal?” As in the divorce never took place…..?????
The date is clearly 2005 on the stamp, it truly was not changed or perhaps, they used an old one, I do not know, but it is clearly a year off.

How do I speed up forgetting my ex-girlfriend?

She and I began dating when I was a junior and she was a freshman in high school. As soon as I went into college, this year, she broke up with me saying that there is no spark. And now, she writes on her myspace that she does not need a guy in her life that is manipulative. I know that she had such strong feelings for me that she did everything I wanted to do to not disssapoint me. I never suspected this, and she’s calling it manipulation. what is this new person she is putting on and what can I do to speed up the process of forgetting her?

I met a young lady from accra Ghana she would like to come here so we can marry. She has a visa passport and airline ticket but was stopped by the Ghana Immigration and told that she needs a declaration fee form in the amount of 7,000 in order to proceed to the U.S. I have been unable to get information from the U.S. state dept. and keep running into dead ends or misinformation. I suspect that this is an internet dating scam but would like to know for sure. My number one question is about the declaration fee. If anyone can help I can send along documentation that is supposedly from the Ghana Immigration authority and copies of her visa and passport. I am also wondering if she simply has the wrong type of visa. Hers is now a type H Thank You
